Attention all youth and parents with an eye for innovation: share your ideas as a speaker and participant in the TEDxYouth@GreaterNashville conference!

What is TEDx? From the organization's website:

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxYouth@GreaterNashville, where x = independently organized TED event. At our TEDxYouth@GreaterNashville event, TEDTalks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.

TEDxYouth@GreaterNashville is holding its inaugural event on November 20 at Montgomery Bell Academy. Several MNPS representatives will be sharing their ideas, along with Mayor Karl Dean. Organizers want students aged 13 and above, as well as parents, educators and administrators, to join them! To find out how to take part, click here.
