Friday, May 6, students from West End IB World School participated in the Stride for the Big Ride. The day was dedicated to the memory of Andrea Morrison Baker, a passionate, authentic and inspirational school counselor at Eakin Elementary who passed away last year. Students participated in a number of activities that promote physical fitness and overall personal wellness. 

Brian Strahine, School Counselor at West End, will be riding his bike across the country in memory of Andrea this summer. The school is working to raise funds the American Lung Association, the organization that is sponsoring Brian's ride.
