On Thursday, September 16, 2010, the Director's Parents Advisory Council met for the first time in its new format. Two representatives from each school, along with returning PAC members, principala, school officials and even the Mayor were invited to meet, get to know each other, and learn about a very important topic for the 2010-11 school year: Tennessee's increased academic standards and upcoming test scores.
